Multi-Use Green Building - Palo Alto, CALocated along a retail corridor in South Palo Alto this infill project is a mixed-use building heavy with green programming. Rainwater harvesting, grey water and a recycling program are incorporated into the infrastructure of the building. We brought sustainable materials and design in the form of recycled concrete boards to liven up a wall along a narrow stair corridor with LED light and living wall panels. The shared residential open space is defined by metal planters with built in sustainable wood benches, translucent panels for separation and a recycled metal water feature.
