New Highway near Bergen - NorwayThis 7-kilometer highway project included tunnels and two large intersections with pedestrian and highway bridges. Stretches of the highway required noise reduction walls and green earth retention walls. Local stone was used throughout the project for retaining walls, tunnel-opening walls and in combination with concrete at all the bridges. This project is now used as the new industry standard for quality, details and material use by the Norwegian Highway Authorities. (designed when employed by Kalve-Smedsvig Landskapsarkitekter)
