Telenor Regional Office - Bergen, NorwayModern technology merges with an old farming landscape on the site of Norway's largest phone company. Existing pine trees, stone fences and meadows are integrated with modern design elements. The materials, traditional and locally sourced, are embodied with modern architecture to create a dual sense of timelessness and tradition. Employees enjoy the grounds' outdoor lunch gardens, bicycle paths and amphitheatre. The project won the Green Building Challenge's prize: Sustainable Building 2002.
