Entry-Level and Intermediate/Advanced level Landscape designer/architects

About the Roles

We are looking for a creative and highly motivated individual who is ready to lead our
landscape design firm to the next level.
The ideal candidate is a passionate, nimble, self-motivated, and creative individual with a
strong sense of design and excellent communication skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe
Suite and 3D modeling programs is a must. Prior experience in project management and
technical drawings, and familiarity with sustainable principles, local materials, native
California flora, as well as waterwise and fire-resistant landscapes, is a plus. We are a small
but dynamic office and are open to new ideas. Possibilities are endless and can be tailored
to your unique skills and interests. We have a friendly and collaborative office culture with
commitment to mentoring and personal development. We believe even an entry level
designer should be able to see a project from concept to construction, to gain a variety of
hands-on experiences in design and construction. If this sounds like something you’d like to
do, please apply to Ive@shadesofgreenla.com with your resume and cover letter. Cover
letters are to be addressed to Ive Haugeland, and the portofolio size should be no larger than 10 MB
